Contact and enquiries
Contact support@torelhome.com about your personal information. When you send an enquiry, we use your name, email address, topic and message to respond and follow up. Enquiries are delivered to our support mailbox and retained in our website records.
We handle product and order enquiries to take steps at your request or assist with a purchase. For other correspondence, we have a legitimate interest in responding and keeping an appropriate record. Sending a message does not subscribe you to marketing.
Orders and customer service
We use order and contact information to process purchases, arrange delivery, respond to order enquiries and handle returns. This can include your name, billing and delivery addresses, email address, telephone number, purchased items and order reference.
Information necessary to complete your order is shared with services handling payments and delivery. Order processing is needed to perform our contract with you; accounting records are also retained where required by law.
Email subscriptions
With your consent, we use your email address to send Tørel news, new arrivals and offers. Follow the confirmation email where requested to complete your subscription.
You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting store@torelhome.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew it.
Optional basket reminder
If you choose the optional reminder at checkout, we use your email address and basket items to send one reminder after 48 hours. Placing an order, emptying the basket or withdrawing your choice cancels the reminder. This does not subscribe you to our newsletter.
Pending reminder details expire after seven days and are removed by our daily cleanup. You can cancel using the link in the reminder or by contacting support@torelhome.com. A limited seven-day record prevents repeated reminders.
Saved pieces and technical information
Your wishlist is stored in your browser on the device you use. Clearing browser site data removes it. It is not synchronised between devices.
Technical information such as IP addresses and request logs may be processed to deliver the website, diagnose problems and protect it against misuse. We use service providers for website hosting, email delivery and form handling; they process information needed to provide these services.
Cookies and browser storage
Browser storage supports features such as your wishlist and site preferences. You can manage or delete stored data in your browser settings. Doing so may reset those features.
How long we keep enquiries
We retain contact enquiries for 12 months after the enquiry is closed, then delete them unless a longer period is needed to meet a legal obligation or handle an ongoing claim. Records that form part of an order or an unresolved dispute may need to be retained separately.
Marketing subscriptions remain active until you unsubscribe or we stop sending the relevant emails. We may keep a limited record of your unsubscribe request so that we can respect it.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. We may need to verify your identity before providing personal information.
